Creating Women-Owned Businesses
WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF WOMEN TO CHANGE THE WORLD
Our Women's Entrepreneurship Forums bring together local government officials including Mayors, Latin American Consuls General, industry experts, professionals, renowned speakers such as the former First Lady of Mexico, and powerful women who motivate women to start their own business.
When women become business owners they are looking at a brighter future for themselves and their families as they have the means to create prosperity and thus, to be financially independent and change their and their families' lives. When that happens their communities benefit and prosper. Businesses mean employment and wealth for cities, counties and the state.
We have organized three incredibly successful Women's Entrepreneurship Forums, two in Dallas and one in San Antonio. Our Forums have drawn 290 women on average, have contributed to 40-90 potential new businesses, have resulted in at least three women-owned businesses who have sought access to credit from our strategic partner Lift Fund, have caused at least 20 women-owned businesses to seek professional advice from experts such as accountants who are members of AMEP USA, and have resulted in the creation of at least 5 new women-owned businesses.
